Terms of use
The agreement between you and FVAMPay Ltd when you use the FVAMPay app and website.
Last updated October 2026
The full terms are being drafted with our solicitors and will be published before the app launches. The points below are the material terms we have already committed to and will not water down.
The things that will not change
- We never hold your money. Your balance sits in a self-custody wallet. The key is created on your device and never leaves it. We cannot move, freeze or spend your balance.
- FVAMPay is not a bank. Your balance is not a deposit and is not covered by a deposit guarantee scheme.
- No chargebacks. Payments settle on a public ledger and cannot be reversed by us. Refunds are issued by merchants under the network refund policy, and FVAMPay Protection applies to eligible claims.
- Adding money is a partner service. Ramp Network, an authorised crypto-asset service provider, provides the top-up service under its own terms and may decline a top-up.
- Your balance is a digital dollar or euro, shown in pounds at a live rate. Small currency movement between top-up and spend is yours.
- The issuer of that digital currency can freeze an address on a court or law-enforcement request. We have no power to do or undo this, and we will tell you if it happens.
- One identity check at signup, shared with our partners so you never repeat it. We keep the result, not your documents.
